Lessons Learned at Camp, Part 3

* Expect the weather to change

* Playing in the rain is encouraged

* Girls don’t really need a reason to scream

* Personal bubbles do not exist

* Never give campers glitter or paint

* Girls cannot use the bathroom alone

* It’s okay to ask for help

* Always find reasons to laugh

* It’s okay to be a little crazy

* No one knows what a riki bamboo really is

* The bridge is slick when wet

* Holding on to things that should be in God’s hands is stupid

* Leave room for the Holy Spirit

* Encouragement, no matter how small, goes a long way

* No matter how strong people look, moths still scare them

* Loving people that annoy you is very hard. It is so much easier to say that you love them than actually doing it

* Don’t scratch poison ivy

* The faith of a child is something that humbles us adults

* God works in ways that confuse the crap out of me!

* Remember that you were young once

* Be ready for unexpected things at all times

* Make the most of every opportunity. You don’t know how important it is until you realize the camper is leaving the next day.
