Demands of the world press in
Calendars fill up
Priorities become jumbled
My eyes stray from Christ
And fixate on the challenges of life
"Set your heart on things above"
"Set your mind on things above"
A battle is waged in my mind
Jesus, reign over me and in me
And day by day I am renewed
Focused on the things of Christ
My gazed fixed on Him
Overwhelmed by His grace
Captured by His love
Rescued by His blood
