Vivid colors streak the sky
As the sun dips below the horizon
Shadows lengthen as darkness consumes
In time the moon will rise
Bringing light in the dark
Light always overcomes
But the night can seem so long
The darkness as deep as the ocean
Everything looks different in the dark
Shadows shift and move
Noises seem to be amplified
Darkness hides
Darkness covers
Darkness FLEES!
Light has come
Light bursts forth from the horizon
At first, it's just a glimpse
Until all the darkness is chased away
Light always overcomes
